Weddings, birthdays, Bat Mitzvahs, Hanukkah & Christmas parties...it is the time of year for beautiful celebrations...add fabulous flowers for celebratory sparkle whether as a singular sensation or in multiples....

It's That Time Of Year...(indoors & out)

...What a few weeks it's been!  People have been busy, and therefore, so have I.  Two thank-you gifts and two get-well arrangements were fun to design and deliver. Then 4 girly centrepieces for a Bat Mitzvah dinner were a particular pleasure to make up, and finally the week wrapped up with an order for 6 centrepieces for an upcoming wedding shower. Later, what was supposed to be a quick trip to Sheridan (after a jaunt to Sporting Life, I admit) turned into inspiration for ideas to create new winter planters, and then the opportunity to bring a bunch to fruition.

Please let me know if you'd like me to come by and replace your autumn arrangements that are slowly becoming susceptible to the colder weather that's recently come our way. I'm looking forward to designing you something pretty for the cold months (and festive season) ahead...whether it's for you or someone else, indoors or out!!

Florals for Friends & Family Fesitivites

Mid-November brings closer examination of the calendar and a realisation that holiday parties and celebrations are really only weeks away, unbelievably!  

I would love to design for you a pretty gift for a hostess or, alternately, an arrangement or two to help decorate your home for the special times spent with friends and family.

The white mums and tall calla lily seen above is a peaceful monochromatic and can be made in smaller sizes, ranging in price from $35-65 each, depending on the height/breadth and contents desired (ie, the lilies could be replaced with amaryllis or paper whites, for example).

My poinsettia topiary is a more contemporary take on a traditional holiday plant.  The size shown is a typical 16" in height and would cost approximately $20...of course, the container could be glass, coloured tin, or silver.

As hard to believe as it is, the clocks have been moved backwards, and flurries are being predicted in the next week or so!  It won't be much longer before your pretty fall arrangements start showing climate distress and will need to be discarded in the green bin before they freeze into their containers.


Despite all that's going on with my upcoming move (which won't affect "daisy" deliveries or setup), I am very excited to get started on new outdoor designs for the approaching winter season.  Thus, when you feel ready to switch things up now that winter is on its way, I'd love to hear from you so that I can help make your home's entrance a little warmer and more colourful.
